Hope proudly presents her baskets, and AAWI is grateful for her willingness to teach the other women.

Serunkuma is a widow, living with grandsons and daughters whose parents died.  She is a farmer, and gets food  from her garden.  She is a kind lady, and is always good to the ladies.

Serunkuma is an expert in making a variety of crafts such as sewing, weaving, basket making, hat and bag making using palm leaves.  Her challenge now is that she now doesn’t see or hear very well.
